Welcome to l’Auberge, a spacious 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home in close proximity to many popular amenities in Cochrane Ontario. The open-concept layout on the main floor allows large groups to gather & socialize at the end of a busy day.

This home is ideal for groups no matter the season. In the summer months, lounge on the patio & enjoy making BBQ dinners. Throughout the winter months, take advantage of the 2 bay heated garage & extra parking in the yard for snowmobile trailers.

The space

L’Auberge is a spacious home that can accommodate up to 10 guests. Upon entering the home, guests will walk through the open concept kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen is fully stocked and has brand new stainless steal appliances – even a dishwasher! The dining table seats 4, and guests can find additional chairs in the laundry room. Guests can access the patio from the dining room and can utilize the BBQ during their stay (except during winter months). The living room has a large smart TV and a few board games.

Two bedrooms with queen beds can be found on the main floor, as well as a laundry room. The main floor bathroom has double sinks and a large, peanut soaker tub. Two additional queen beds are found in the large basement room, with a small half bathroom. There is also a small living room in the basement, as well as a single day-bed underneath the stairs.

Guests can access the 2 bay heated garage from outside, or from inside the home. There is ample parking for trucks and trailers on property. In the winter months, guests can park cargo trailers in the yard.

Guests have access to the entire home and 2 bay garage during their stay. Guests do not have access to the separate basement suite.

Other things to note

**Please note that there is a separate basement suite situated in this home that is occupied, that guests can not access. The suite is entirely separate and there are no shared spaces with the tenant. **

This was our third time staying at this house, again for a sledding trip. We love staying here; great location for trail access and fuel, heated garage and space in the home make it a no brainer for a largish group sledding. Will be staying again next year if we get snow! JP, Lynne and Chantal are very accommodating, responsive and fair. It is my understanding they own several rental properties up north, so if you are looking at different properties I would strongly suggest using them!

Jp’s place in Cochrane was a great place for my group of snowmobilers to call home base for the weekend. The heated and secure garage was great to bring in the snowmobiles at night and to dry off our gear. We managed to fit ten sleds inside. The house was cozy and bright and had everything we needed for the weekend. We will definitely be coming back.

second time staying at this place, both times for sledding trips. Heated garage is amazing for anyone planning on going for a snowmobile trip in Cochrane. We were able to work on our machines in total comfort and melt the ice and snow off overnight.

This was our second time staying with JP and Lynn. Great hosts and great place. We hope to use this place for many years to come. Thanks again JP and Lynn
